I am sharing an illustrated fairy tale.

Kolobok is an ancient Ukrainian fairy tail, which symbolically refers to the initiation ritual.
It is not widely known outside of the country, so I wanted this illustration to retell visually the story as a one-pager.
This is a boardgame-style quest, which follows the adventures of Kolobok.
Let’s follow along and see how far he gets!
Phase 0
Kolobok is a round loaf of bread, baked by grandparents. He is left on the windowsill to cool.
Phase 1
Not wanting to be eaten, he runs away from the grandparents.
Phase 2
Kolobok meets an hair in the forest. He does not want to be eaten, tricks the hair and runs away.
Phase 3
Next he meets a wolf. Kolobok runs away from the wolf, who also tried to eat him.
Phase 4
Kolobok then meets a bear, another hungry animal in the forest. He runs away again.
Phase 5
Finally, Kolobok meets a fox and he is not able to run away this time.
